We’re looking for an exceptional person to join our team!

  • Our shop runs 5 days per week. In addition to creating work in our shop, we offer installation on both weekdays and weekends.

  • We’re looking for the right people and can be flexible for part-time (3 days a week) or full-time (4-5 days a week) employment.

  • In addition to your regularly scheduled days, every shop position is required to work two weekend shifts per month (can range from 2 hours to 6 hours on the weekends). You choose the shifts via our scheduling software.

About Girl Friday

  • Girl Friday is a small, growing business based in NE Minneapolis.

  • We create handmade décor for private clients and brands—such as Coke, Google, and Target.

  • Every project is different — and is often challenging since we’re always learning new skills and materials.

  • We're inspired by our client. Our goal is to understand our client and their goals—and use that to create décor that delights and surprises.

  • Girl Friday averages around 300 custom projects per year.

  • We’re growing quickly and aren't able to keep up with the requests for work. This year, we're working to expand the team and further grow the company as we find the right people.

Our culture

  • We are a valued-driven company. We expect a lot from ourselves and our teammates. We’re hard workers. We help each other. We tell the truth and keep our promises.

  • We work in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment. We’re almost always racing the clock while striving for excellence.

  • We’re inclusive and believe that teammates should be as diverse as humankind. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply and will receive consideration without regard for race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, martial status, genetic information or any other characteristic protected by law or decency.
